Empowering Transwomen Through Skill & Livelihood

Kriyaa Educational and Welfare Trust has championed inclusive community development focusing on marginalized groups who face systemic barriers to employment and financial independence. Among our core initiatives is a dedicated program for the upliftment of transwomen, designed to restore dignity and secure sustainable livelihoods.

Stitching Independence: Tailoring Classes & Free Sewing Machines

  • Free Professional Sewing Machines: We provide participants with their own sewing machines, removing the financial barrier to setting up home-based tailoring or boutique micro-enterprises.
  • Entrepreneurship & Financial Guidance: Beyond stitching, we impart basic financial literacy and business skills, enabling transwomen to market their services, take on independent orders, and achieve self-reliance.

"True inclusion means providing the tools for self-sufficiency. By equipping transwomen with professional skills and sewing machines, we are stitching together a future of economic freedom, respect, and enduring dignity."
